is it okay to start buying things for my lil one?

So i am 13 weeks and i am so anxious to start buying things. Of course i am going to buy for either or since i will not find out til september 21 what my baby is. But i am so anxious i just cant wait. Do you think it is okay to buy some things here and there?

I'm 16+4 and dyyying to buy things, my gender U/S is next friday and I'm holding off until then, I don't want to buy a ton of wipes, diapers, etc, until closer til the baby is born, and that's usually what you get the most of at a baby shower anyway. I bought everything really early with my son, and was SO bored at the end. I had his entire room set up by 25 weeks, so I was waiting for the end for a longggg time.. it's up to you, I know how it is though, trust me!

I brought stuff since the day I found out I was pregnant at 14 weeks and im sooo glad I did... im now almost 39 weeks and im happy I did because I had to stop working in june

Thank you. I just dont think i can wait to start buying. I go places and see all these cute things and i have to fight myself not to buy them.

A lot of people say to wait incase something happens but its all up to you mommy! If baby's healthy and you've had no complications.  If you feel like you want to then go for it. You can never have enough stuff especially onesies, bibs, wipes etc! Have fun just get neutral stuff

Thank you so much. Alot of people just tell me thati should wait a while. K have had 2 ultrasounds and baby is doing great. I will get paid next week and i will be almost 15 weeks, that is when i was going to go buy a few things.

Yes of course! Baby no matter what gender will need diapers,wipes, bath supplies, receiving blankets, Bouncer, crib... Etc.
