HCG Levels/HELP

Hello Everyone... I just found out last week I am pregnant.. When they did my first Blood work it was 140 which confirmed I was.. Then I went in on that monday adn went to 540 I went in today for blood work and its 660, nurse had said to stop taking my prenatal vitamins and watch for Cramping or Bleedingm Ok so are you telling me I am having a M/S? She said to them HCG level should be doubled? Well she is going by the books and thinking it should be doubled. I am in-tune with my body so needless to say i was very upset and been crying  :crying:  how do you want me to take that? She had said that more than likely its not going to  be a healthy pregnancy :( I go in Sunday for more blood work and than they will see.. Anyone experience this.. Please let me know.. I am thinking Ok my levels arent dropping,,

I just want to let you know that I nurse had just called and my HCG results are now 798, I am confused as she had said no Prenatal vitamins or sexual activity, then she had called back and said that my white blood count was high and asked if I was sick?> Well I am not sick I dont feel sick at all.. SHe didnt give me the blood count numbers I go tuesday as schedule for a Ultrasound but everyone keeps telling me to drink 32oz of water nurse didnt give me any instructions.. My guess my HCG levels are increasing they are not doubling but going up, is that good???

Hey, sorry to hear that, and honestly i dont like receiving news from the nurses, im a nurse myself and i dont need to talk to another nurse, my ob and primary care physcian i talk to them, and they call me with results not the nurse.  And at one hospital i worked at we could not tell the patient bad news, the dr had to tell them first then we could answer questions and talk to them about it.  Like leigh said try not to stress and wait til sunday, and yes, there are women who numbers did not double and had health babies.

make sure you update us.  i will send lots of positive vibes your wya.  just try to think good thoughts because if things are going well, you do not want to stress the baby out.

Ok Thanks I go Sunday. My sisters friend just had a baby and they had said the same thing to her and she had a healthy pregnany.. I just dont know how to take that.. I'll update on sunday.. Thanks

the best thing to do is have your blood work done again, the nurse is right, they should have doubled in 48-72 hours but i know that there have been a few stories on here of women's who's did not double and they had healthy babies.  try to relax until Sunday.
