Stress Relief

Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique. Hopefully someone can give me suggestions. Please and thank you.

Yea im trying to but i've been so stressed with work I rarely have time to do anything I really like. But thanks for the advice i'll try to put it to use. I'm just happy the answers I got weren't negative like most peoples opinions because I am trying its just really hard ecspecially knowing your responsible for another life.

Reading and baths are the only things that seem to help me.

What are some things that you enjoy doing? I find going for a drive, taking a nice warm bath, playing guitar, swimming all help me to de-stress. I totally understand about the talking to friends making you feel depressed..I feel like none of my friends have been there for me lately, so i find more comfort on here or talking to a few people I know who are pregnant/have kids. Hopefully you find that thing/activity that works for you!
