I don't think there's a way to advoid them. They run in family's some people get them and some don't. I used cocoa butter and oils my entire pregnancy and still got them on the lower half of my belly. But if u want try the creams and oils (bio oil) or other stuff you can find in the lotion section of the store. I even tried special stuff u could only order over the phone. I hope that you don't get stretch marks I mean nobody wants them but if u do get them you will get use to it, when I'm done having kids and can ever save enough money surgery can get rid of them but I'm not to worried about it.
They're isn't, it's genetic.
I use coconut oil and im 27.5 weeks and so far i dont have any on my belly but like she said if your gonna get em your gonna get em no matter what lol nothing can really stop them.... i started my oil to late so i have a little bit on my breast and i have them kinda alot on my butt and hips lol :( but it hasnt gotten worst since i started using the oil. Good luck with all that! :)
Drink lots of water !! Keeping hydrated really helps don't get me wrong I have a few stretch marks but nothing major when my son was 5 mos u couldn't even see them unless u knew they was there I'm now 37 wks preg w my 2nd and have no new o es and u still really can't see my old ones .. I also used lotions as soon as I'd get out of the shower I don't use a specific lotion either and I gained 85lb my 1st pregnancy and pretty close already on my 2nd and both sides of my fam has stretch marks good luck momma even if u get them they're so worth it :)
Dont scratch them i used cocoa butter cream all the time and if it got itchy i used to put rubbing alcohol but dnt scratch them u can prevent them by doin tat, my mom had them and with wat i did i didnt get a single stretch mark
Don't scratch keep skin hydrated use bio oil which is a great less expensive product with my first son I got some on my boobs and a little here and there but you can't tell i'm on my second and i've got a few little new ones lol i'm stressing about them but they are hardly anything to die about and in plus after you have the baby if you use the oil it will help with the appearance so don't fret
