My aunt had the same thing happen to her. But what it came out to be was she was carrying twins and miscarried her little girl but her little boy survived.
I was diagnosed with it in the ER at 9w4d - I went to the bathroom at midnight & had a panty liner FULL of dark brown blood.
my fiancé drove me, I was freaking out, crying, ugh it was an awful experience! well, that was the first time we got to see our baby & he/she was perfectly healthy, bouncing around, I LOST it! I cried tears of happiness & just thanked God.. I had my 1st OB appointment 2 days later & he/she was still perfectly fine!
I only spotted for a few days after that, then again around a week later at about 10w4d for a couple of days - but since then, nothing.
it'll either bleed out or your body will absorb it. I didn't know how common it was either!! I'm 12w4d now & again, haven't seen anymore blood. as long as it's brown you're okay. if it's bright red or clotting, go back to the ER!
good luck, and congratulations!!! (((:
yeah i know i still get nervous when i see it since i know your not really suppose to bleed even though my doctor is not worried
