hernia issues. wth

So went to the doc yesterday and found out I have small hernia near growing area. She said I should b okay. But I'm not okay. It barely hurts and when it does if jus feels like medium pressure  it manageable. It does that every morning at work. Ilift a lot at work and always on my feet. Should I be worried about this when I get bigger and go into labor. Someone please let me no. Im really concerned

Mine doesn't hurt at all, but I've also had it my entire life. I'm guessing it's different than a hernia that comes during a pregnancy, but lifting heavy stuff will definitely iritate it.

I have an umbilical hernia from when I was born. My doc said the only thing it will most likely do is make labor more painful due to the contractions hitting it constantly. She suggested an epidural if I can't handle the pain from it. I think you should get a medical note for work though. Lifting could definitely make it worse & you don't want that!
