Superstitions. Your view?

Sooo everyone keeps telling me I've jinxed myself by telling people before my first scan. I'm 8 weeks and I was so excited I couldn't contain myself. And I thought everyone I had told were "friends" now I'm so paranoid I can't sleep at night but this is the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me, I can't let anything happen to my baby :'(

I told my mom at 6 weeks family at 8 weeks before my ultrasound. Don't listen to that. You'll be just fine.

I told everyone at 5 weeks... im now 39.3 weeks. Youre fine! Just forget about that stuff, there to many superstitions/ old wives tales in pregnancy.

Thats so dumb... Whrn I took my pregnancy test and it came out positive I told everybody except my dad within 2days and didnt even go to the doctor until maybe 2weeks after that and my baby is fine. :) dont stress your fine ♡

I told people when I found out at 4 weeks. I'm 34 weeks today. You didn't jinx yourself.

Both pregnancies we told all my family the day after I missed my period! We figured we'd tell them anway and want their support if something did happen. I don't believe it jinxed anything.

I told people around 6 weeks n babys fine im 29 weeks now dont worry n dont listen to those people telling you negative comments be happy for your blessing stay positive :)

They're just being idiots. You can't "jinx" yourself by announcing your pregnancy and being excited about it. Just because you told people BEFORE the second trimester does NOT mean anything will happen to your baby.
