i am having sharp pai in my cervix very often

Sharp pain in the cervix is usually the baby pressing on a nerve. So annoying since it feels like an electrical knife stabbing you. If you are concerned though contact your doctor.

You'll know you're in labor when your water breaks, you have bloody show (bloody mucous) or when you begin to have contractions that are painful and consistent.
