worried about losing my baby

Im 18 and my fiancee and I just found out I was pregnant. I'm about 6 weeks and 5 days. My Mom has a history of trouble pregnancies, and I have multiple cyst on my ovaries. I'm very worried this could cause me to lose my baby. I haven't had any bleeding or abnormal things going on. Should I be worried? And is there anything I can do to make sure my baby's safe?

my mum had problems with preeclampsia i was soo worried about it. spoke with my doc and she said not to worry they will keep a closer eye on me and the baby. family history is important but not necessarily going to affect you. if they know about it they can help. i'm 6weeks6 so we'll hopefully have baby round about the same time. congrats sweetie xxx

I'm the same I keep thinking the worst. You mothers history shouldn't affect your pregnancy. Speak to your doc about the cyst but I'm sure u wil be fine. Congrats on ur pregnancy hun xxx

I had three miscarriages before this baby. So of course I stressed in the beginning about it. But I convinced myself I was going to have a happy healthy strong baby and tada I'm 23 weeks and its a girl! Just relax, that's the best you can do for your lil munchkin.

Inform your OB if you haven't already so they have a heads up on your ovaries. But you should be fine. Honestly women miscarry for unknown reasons all of the time but don't focus on that. Stay as healthy as possible and take your vitamins. Follow up with your docs and take it from there.

well your moms history on pregnancies has mothing to do with your pregnancy..so thats good, all you can do right now is take it easy, take your prenatals, eat healthy..no alcohol or smoking, no sushi or fish with high nurcury levels..congrats :)
