Are any of u ladies plan on getting your tubes tied after birth?

My husband is gettin the snip, this will be my 3rd boy and I have a step son so 4 boys, I'm not overly keen on the idea as I'm only 26 and feel that in the future would like to try again for a girl, but my hubby is 11 years older than me and is made up with his sons, he has said more kids so the snip it is, :(

It seems like everyone stops after 3 or more...I am not sure whether or not I want to have my tubes tied after this one, she'll be my second girl. Maybe I should try for a boy? It's such a difficult decision.

I was signed up to do it, but finding out im having baby boy #2, i couldn't give up the dream of having a little girl. However, if my labor is anything like it was with my son and the epidural not working and feeling every little thing, i will sign those papers lol!  Plus it was going to cost us an additional $2500 for it to be done so i will go back to the iud.

I had my tubes tied oct 27th 2011 after my 4th girl born on sept 21st 2011 and I am currently 25 weeks pregnant so it didnt work for me....I am going to try the essure after this one hopefully this will do the trick and yea hubby could get a vas but I DONT EVER WANT TO BE PREGNANT again even if he died so im hoping this will work!!!!!

Im 37 weeks with baby #4..im planning on getting the essure..which is kinda like the iud but permanent

Lol, I did same thing! My son is 12, daughter is 8, stepdaughter 11, & stepson 10. We have only been married 4 years & had decided we didn't need/want any more, then found out I was prego, lol. I have csection & tube tying planned for Sept 24.

I also went the alternative route and my husband was sterilized. For us, ligation was far too expensive, too long of a recovery and more hassle. A vasectomy is cheap, fast and takes MAYBE 2 days to recover. I was told pregnancy would be too difficult on my body to go through it again so it was an easy choice for us.

Well I only have one son and I'm currently pregnant now but I am wanting to get mine tied after this one..due to other reasons I want to get them tied as well

This will be my 4th baby and I'm getting my tubes tied. I have a 10 yr old girl, 8 yr old boy, and 1 yr old girl. This one is unknown. 4 is enough for me but i still question myself sometimes.

one of my co workers was telling me the story of her two kids getting killed in a car crash, she's only 23. she had a boy and a girl. i asked her was she going to have any more kids like later on when she gets married..... she said she had gotten her tubes tied a month before the accident....:-(  her story made think.......

I just had mines tied Friday during my c section . It made my pain so much worst but I loved the fact I want be having anymore kids ...I have four kids now ...

Yes I plan on getting mine tied. This is my 3rd and last baby!!  Hope its a girl this time. I have an 8 and 2 ur old boys already.

I have a scheduled c-section & tubal Sept 27th. I have a 11 & 8 year old. Both boys, this one is a lil girl. I don't like the fact that I will not be able tp have children anymore but know its the right decision.

yes this is my 3rd as well, my second boy tho:) my daughter is 9&my son soon will be 5 sept 8..last time I changed my mind towards the end about getting my tubes tied lol..

I wanted to as this will be my 3rd kiddo but my hubby isnt very pleased with it if I have a boy he wants to try for a girl or if its a boy he wants to try for a girl I already have the pair so lets see how this goes!
