That's the only thing I dread about being pregnant... Is labor.
My first instinct was to hold my breath too even tho I knew just to keep breathing. My husband kept a close eye on the monitor and made sure I was breathing the right way when a contraction was on its way. Breathing is very important and birthing classes really helped me a lot. People sometimes are like of course I'm gonna breath, how can u forget to breath. It's very easy to forget how to breath while being in labor. Practice ur breathing as much as u can!
Oh and remember to keep breathing when you have them my first instinct was to hold my breath not sure why.. but they keep a cuff on your arm for your BP and it keeps going off like every 5 min it seems like when my BP would raise and it would hurt my arm bad! So I would try to relax myself when the contractions came quicker and harder cause during that time anything seems to annoy you and for me it was the BP cuff tightening!!
I've heard they come in the front or back I don't know about anyone else? But with my 1st I had back contractions they felt like menstrual cramps! My 2nd I had both front and back!!
If you watch a movie on birth don't let it scare you too much cause some women are different some woman scream their heads off while other grunt.
I didn't scream but tears just came rolling out of my eyes.. It won't hurt too much when you push though it's kind of a relief!
For me felt like someone was twisting every inch of my insides. Its like ur period cramps times a billion. Its really not that bad and don't worry yourself or be scared because trust me when that time comes the only thing you are gonna be thinking about is meeting ur precious baby.take the time now to find something u can focus on in labor. I focused on my sons sonogram picture and it helped a little. Don't be scared,it will hurt but u will get through it and it will be so well worth it when the Dr hands u ur baby
Theyre kinda hard to explain because every woman is different and also can tolerate different levels of pain.. some people may feel them and some may not. But theyre something like really really strong menstrual cramps!! #SECONDTIMEMOM ♡
