Feelings about your pregnancy...

I know this will sound silly, lol but it crossed my mind today that I will be 30 weeks Friday. That alone is an accomplishment. But, have you ever had a thought or "intuition" that you will deliver early? Does every new mom go through that or even ones that have had a baby before... is this just a pregnancy anxiety type of thing?..... Or can a woman really just be that intune with her body that she just feels she won't make it to 40 weeks? Whether she does or not, whose to say but... is it completely crazy to feel like you can be that intune with yourself?
I say this because, though I may be a total nut farm right now, I just don't see myself making it to 40 weeks. I just feel some how or some way I will be able to make it between 33-36 weeks. I don't know why. I've had dreams about going into labor early and even seeing my baby boy but man, I think I'm crazy lol
Yes, I'm a little anxious about giving birth but it's not at all to the point that it scares me. At least not yet. All of my dreams have been of seeing and holding my baby boy earlier than planned. It seems insane to me that I even feel this way but I've never been THIS pregnant before. I'm nesting like wildfire right now. Constantly wanting to clean or organize things. Poor DH has had to move our bed around a LOT since I've been pregnant. I have intentions of cleaning the mess out of our room tomorrow. Not that there is a mess, just want to get my dusting and organizing done before my head falls off....Okay, so since I posted about how I feel like a nut, how are the rest of you first time moms and other moms doing and feeling about your pregnancies? Feeling as nutty as I am? Lol

I keep having the craiziest dreams as well . And I feel nutty like u lol I feel like I'm going to go into labor early. I am 28 weeks and feel like I can't get any bigger then this but I know it'll deff get bigger.

my frist I was induced after two weeks past my due date my second was induced on his due date but I had a feeling with him that I wasn't going past my due date with my third I was expecting her to be early but she wad induced two half weeks early due my bp now this time I have been on bedrest since week 20 for threatened preterm labor and I just have feeling that she is going to be here sooner than her due date but I know for a fact my obgyn isn't going to let mee go past my aug 3. date so I feel where u are coming from but I still think it it is all in the luck of draw I guess :-)

I knew with my 2nd he was going to come early (he was born a day shy of 37 weeks) and with my last as well, just didn't think he'd come at 35 weeks. The day before I went to labor with my last I actually washed all the baby clothes, bottles, everything. I guess I just "knew".

I was 100% sure I was going to have premature labour. Only 1 female in my family went to term, and that was my aunt. My sister had her baby at 35 weeks, my mom had all of us 6 weeks early....etc etc. Turned out I was completely wrong and she came at 39 weeks. I remember having the weirdest dreams while pregnant (including nursing 5 different babies on top of a gas station???) and kept dreaming that I was giving birth. It drove me crazy. It was the biggest relief when I actually did give birth.

I think a lot of it is mental. In the beginning you know it is going to take a long time to fully cook the baby, so you except that it is going to be a long time. Then you get to 30 weeks and closer your due date and it stops feeling like an eternity and then it gets to where you want it now. I definatly had that and found I just needed to keep myself busy, which I did since I worked full time up to the day.
But I do have to say the weekend before I was due I had this gut feeling that is was going to happen that weekend and was really surprised by Sunday night when nothing had happened. What do you know, water broke at 5am, i was just a day off!!  It just gets harder and harder to wait when you are so close, and so ready to see your cute babies little face :)

yeah, he'll come when he's fully cooked! haha, i have to say my nesting frenzy kicked in before i got my bfp...and it's still happening now, i'm 6 weeks now, so lord knows what it will be like by the time i'm term!
it's good your putting dh to use though, i like that!

yeah, i thought i'd be early with my first, she was late by days and i was induced. my 2nd i was convinced i'd be early, haha, he was 5 days late too and i was induced again...by the time i was having my 3rd i was convinced i'd be late...and i was, 7 days and induced again....and this time...i'll be overdue and induced i think!
