Yeah, I'm just afraid of the pain after the birth, plus during my c/s I started having pain right after they took Elijah out, and that was NOT fun...the one thing I was scared of when I went into the c/s was feeling pain, and I ended up feeling it...makes my skin crawl thinking of it...
I'm sure I'll be on here ASAP when I get home to let you guys know what happened.
I can't wait hear the update from the appointment!
Ivy's right - labour is awesome, so worth it! I had an epidural both times. The one with Daniel totally numbed EVERYTHING from the waist down and the nurses had to tell me when to push, but I had sensation with Gil and it was awesome being able to guide my own pushes and get him out myself (that time I was telling the nurses when I had to push, I felt much more in control....but still blissfully pain free, lol).
I hope I do get an ultrasound, it'll make me feel better!
I think the nervous/scary part is just because I can't help but think of things that can go wrong, and the fact that I might end up getting an epidural if I can't handle the pain and I don't want any of the other stuff they offer...that's the really scary part. After my spinal experience, and the pain I've felt since...I just really don't want to go through that again.
Good luck tomorrow Sab and try to calm down....I may be crazy but labor is AWESOME...it's seriously so much fun. I spent my entire pregnancy looking forward to it with Grey because I knew what was coming...and when we decide to go for #3 I know I'm going to be over the moon because labor was so much fun...I know, so weird. it hurts like nothing else in this world but it's also the best, most satisfying experience EVER to push a baby out despite the pain.
Ask whatever you want tomorrow the worst she can do is say "we'll have to wait and see" but you already know that.
The time DOES zing by...I know what you mean...I feel like Grey was just born and he'll be 2 months in 5 days O.O but Kahlan turns 2 years in 14 days and that's just as shocking to me, lol...pregnancy and children are a weird time paradox. sometimes too fast, sometimes WAY too slow!
again good luck tomorrow I'm fairly certain you'll get the u/s you want :)
Thanks, I hope so too, but I think some of them might have to wait until it's a little closer to delivery time, I'm just hoping to get some info.
Good luck tomorow , i hope u get all your questions answerd .
