Go in prepared. Hire a doula. Take classes, not at the hospitals they usually do nothing to help moms with natural birth. Read birth stories. Surround yourself with people who will support and encourage your deccision. Often times I've seen moms want natural birth but do nothing to prepare so when reality hits they don't know how to cope, don't know that yelling and screaming is counter productive, that changing positions can help progress labor. Find a doctor who wants it as much as you. Ask other people what birth experience they had, then choose the doc they had. You can fire doctorsn you are the consumer! You can refuse anything! Good luck!
Thsnk you soo much and I will look into that.
I was the same way! I was so anxious and nervous and just wanted labor to get here. It may seem like it takes forever, but I promise it will come soon enough :) I wanted a natural birth so bad, but kept my options open incase I couldn't handle it and I couldn't. I was induced and everyone always told me that getting induced makes labor a little harder and more painful. Don't get discouraged if you do decide to opt for pain meds. But I would advise a birthing class to help with breathing technics and pain management. I wish I would've taken the classes. Good luck with everything :)
