baby feels big

I swear my baby is bigger than the doctor thinks he is.  lm 32 weeks today, but I feel like I'm actually probably a week and a half more than that. I didn't go to the doctor until I was sixteen weeks pregnant, so he did an ultrasound then that we've been going by, and he said I was sixteen weeks. But the scan took about thirty seconds, and I felt very rushed. I feel like my baby is a littlle older. My question is how common is it for a doctor to be wrong?

Well you should be fine for your baby shower. Just probably really tired and achy. But your bd should definitely be helping start the nursery and everything set up at least what you have right now and if painting he needs to get on that. But I get why he wants to wait till after the shower to buy more. My shower is Aug 2nd too but I'll be 29 weeks I wanted plenty of time to prepare

It's just worrying me because my baby shower is so close to my due date. I'm due August 20 and my baby shower is august 2nd. I need a car seat, but my bf refuses to buy anything until after the baby shower. The nursery hasn't even started, I want to do it myself so bad but they won't let me paint, and I can't lift the furniture up the stairs. I hate relying on people. I am so restless to see some progress but everyone keeps putting it off.

Ultrasounds can be off by a week or so in either direction its normal. Which is why you can go up to 42 weeks pregnant or be full term at 38 weeks. The ultrasound gives you the best estimate.

My doc told me i was 4 weeks further than my baby boy actually measures! Its common if they don't use the right techniques to figure it out! With the 3D ultrasound, id say that means the ultrasound is more right than your doc. If your baby measures to more than you are, he might just want to come earlier than you're expecting!

Also, I went and got a 3D ultrasound last week. During it the woman said "how many weeks did you say you have left?" And I said nine weeks. "You..may not have to wait THAT long". WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
