Last night, my boyfriend and I wanted to have sex with each other.  Unfortunately, my cycle came on before we gotten anything aroused all the way. Instead, we cuddled until it was time for him to go to work.  A few hours later, I spent some time in the bed and I had an urge of embarrassing flatuence. The last time of that made me got up in an instant. So I went to the bathroom and checked my sanitary napkin and there was a plum sized blood clot. I felt a little weak I was scared to say anything about and I took a shower  so I can go to work.  I thought  that I might have another episode so I took plenty of sanitary napkins .  Every so often, I would go to the ladies restroom and check to see if I am bleeding at all, because I stopped bleeding after the shower. Now that it is close to bedtime, I am still not bleeding!!!  So please tell me what is really going on.  Is it because of stress?

i had about the same thing happen to me.. i had started my period on a friday while at work and when i got home 8 hours later i had no blood on my tampon what so ever... then i started again on monday and was off and on til the next friday... and this was the end of jan and i took a hpt and it was neg. then i took another one the middle of feb and still neg then i took one march 1st and it was pos. so there for it might be that or just that ur starting ur menstrual. i woud wait and see what happens before anything

Stress does alot so it could be that, however this is not irregular.  Sometimes if there are blood clots your body is just trying to push them out to begin menstruation, this is also what happens if you are having a really heavy period.  Usually when this happens to me I sit on the toilet and massage my pelvis area this helps the clots if any to decrease in size and come out easily.  If theres concern about pregnancy you should definately go to yoru doctor and just let them know whats going on.
