I know this is not smoking but I agree with JoyRenee about your body telling you something. When I was pregnant (and didn't know it) I had a sudden aversion to beer/wine and coffee, all of these things I love. So it was definatly my body saying NO!
It's probably just your body trying to tell you not to smoke. Some doctors speculate that women get nauseous and sick due to hormones but also due to the body trying to protect the fetus from possible hazards. I would ask your doctor about some ways to quit that are safe while pregnant. If it were me (and no, I've never smoked so I'm probably way off here) I would chew a ton of gum and find something to do during "smoke times" that would distract me. You may get sick from quitting but it won't last.
I use to smoke too and then got pregnant and quit at 6wks Now I cant stand the smell of smoke it makes me want to gag!!!
They can. I know it made me sick just smelling smoke.
Sometimes. With my first I would throw up if I smelled cigarettes and I was a smoker but that didn't start happening until I was 6+ weeks along. With my second I actually had to consciously quit because it didn't bother me at all.
