What is the tablet inside of a HPT - HELP dog ate it
My dog got in to the bin and from what i could see she ate 1/4 of a tablet which came out of a HPT. Does anyone know what this tablet is?

It's a silica gel tablet, which keeps moisture out of the package, kind of what you get in a new box of shoes, except in tablet form. I would just offer the dog lots of water to help her flush it out of her system. It's not a whole lot so I wouldn't worry to much. Michael my oldest son ate a little baggy of the silica gel when he was a baby, all poison control told me to do was offer him lots of water to flush it out.

Erm I would take it too a vett just incase. If it was a used HPT I know this is gross but at least its insides are clean... Urine is rather clean and stuff....
