Update!

So Aubryana really IS tiny. She turned 9 months old today and had her check up appointment. She's 27 1/4 inches, and 15.6 pounds. She's actually lost a few ounces since her last appointment, my guess would be because she doesn't sit still unless she's asleep, SO we're moving her up to three meals a day with oatmeal in all of them, and she's going back in six weeks for a weight check. I'm praying that she has gained weight, because she doesn't really drink out of a cup and refuses a bottle. She bites the cup when I give her water with her food, and if she hasn't gained weight the dr wants me to supplement with formula, and I have NO clue how to give it to her. Nine months of breast feeding, and I'm not giving up!!! She's 25% for height and weight, black and white difference between my kiddos, Elijah's never been below 90% for height, mostly over 95% and he's always been about 75% for height. I have one giant child, and one mini one, lol!

AND on a side note, at Elijah's 18 month appointment a year and a half ago, I was told he didn't need to come back until his shots before Kindergarten....WRONG!!!! He was supposed to have another shot, and he's supposed to be going once a year. I didn't know that...SO now I've got to set up an appointment for him as well, thinking I'll wait until around Aubryana's appointmnet in six weeks (Hopefully the same day since the hospital is so far away and we're back down to only one car...)

I've already given you my opinions but I will add that some kids are just small.  My oldest was born small due to growth restriction and she stayed very small and petite until she hit puberty..When Gabe was born 3 years ago she was still so little-girlish, now at 15 she's very womanly, almost as tall as I am, wears a D cup bra better than I do and we can share shoes!

my firends daughter is breast feed also but very tiny. There is nothing wrong with her at all. She is only about 10 lbs now and over 3 months old. I tease her all the time saying she is producing skim milk. Have to tried ways to "fatten" up your milk?? IDK what would do it but there has got to be some things you could do. I still say if there is nothing wronge it okay if shes a peanut:) All my kids are tiny but they are healthy:)

It can be normal for the weight to drop a little at that age bc they are crawling and learning to walk expending so much energy burning more calories. Good luck keep us posted

Well she's been on the 25% for both height and weight for a while, but her weight dropped lower than it was, and at her 6 month appointment she weighed more than she does now by a couple ounces, that's why the dr was worried, but I think it's just cause she's so busy now that she's burning more so she needs to eat more.

I would just try to get her to eat when you can, Its really hard with a 9 month old. As long as she is happy and healthy I am sure she will be fine.... My son is extremely tiny too, He actually has always been in the 1 - 2 percentile for his age, which used to scare me bc that is about as low as it gets BUT the dr said he is height and weight porportionate (sp?) so not to worry.... She just might be a tiny girl!
