mucus plug

So this might be a dumb question but I am 38w3d and I am 2cm and 80% thinned and a couple hours after my doc appt this morning I went to the bathroom and when I wiped on the tissue was a small amount of discharge, maybe about an inch long and was light brownish and was tinged with a tiny bit of blood. Could this have been a bit of my mucus plug? How big is the mucus plug?

Thanks. I wasnt sure because it was such a small amount, I was expecting it to look like a big glob lol.

yep it could have been... some ppl loose theirs in sm bits and some in 1 big glob so its very possible thats what it was :)
