having a baby at 50 is it possible

I am 50 and my period has stop for the past 11 months is it possible to get them back to try for a baby

I agree with the other ladies. It sounds as though you've gone through menopause/are going through it. You would need to consult with your ob or a fertility center to see what options are available, but you would most likely need donor eggs or even a surrogate, etc.

usually once your period has stopped for the amount of time your describing you cant get it back, you can still have a baby, but you would have to use donor eggs or donor embryo's

A woman is considered to be in menopause when they havent had a period in 12 months so it sounds like you are already there...  the only way to know for sure is to talk to your Dr...

You would have to contact your ob/gyn to discuss your options, as it sounds like it may not be very promising for you to become pregnant naturally.

I don't think so since it sounds like your going through menopause already but you should talk to your doctor and ask him/her if you still can and if its safe to do
