I was having them at 14weeks and i was getting them quite frequent but my doctor told me to drink alot of water and walk alot and then she said if i get more then three in an hr then go to the hospital.
Lol ash I had been begging for days and my hubby is "pregnant" too so he kept turning me down...when I passed out on the couch and he woke me up asking if I wanted to, I couldn't then it doesn't...idk when I will get it again! Hahaha
My doctor said that if you get more then 3 in a hour go to the hospital so they can stop them..even if they don't hurt..ive gotten 1 every 2 hours but my doctor said its nothing to worry about until they get alot in a hour or start hurting bad,,i just drink alot of fluids and make die i get my meals:)
lol Oh boy the things I have to look forward too. lol Maybaby after yesterday an all I did, I couldnt even think about sex lol. Thankfully my hubby is "pregnant" too and not really in the mood.
I had them bad yesterday too, I'm 19+3. After being on my feet all day then having sex...my body couldn't take anymore lol
Like gobrandiranger said, they are most likely really strong bc of dehydration. I had the same issue early on, and my ob said drink more water! :)
Thanks everyone! Yea I think i am bit dehydrated because yesterday I was busy cleaning, skyping with my family, cooking dinner, I dont think I drank much other than two glasses of water and a bottle of rootbeer. Which is way less than normal.. (80 oz or more) but I am going to try staying more hydrated. They are def not painful, they just kind of feel funny. No pain whats so ever. and last night it only happened once, and today it only happened once. but If they do start happening more often. I will def call my dr.
You actually have braxton hicks contractions the entire pregnancy. You just dont realize it till baby is bigger and creating pressure
I started having braxton hicks around 18 weeks with my first and 14 weeks with this one. I increased my water intake a LOT because I was dehydrated due to nausea and vomiting. Bh can be caused by dehydration. Since I started drinking more water, they went away. I'm 21+5 today and haven't had any in a few weeks.
For me, the first time, it just felt like a heavy lead ball had.collected in my uterus the size of a bowling ball. No pain, just heavy pressure. This time, they were very mild contractions because my body knows what muscles to flex.
If they become painful to the point you can't speak and changing positions doesn't help, then they're the real thing, which needs medical attention asap.
Good luck!
I just started to get mine and im 30 weeks.. but you can get them when ever really.. some people get them as early as 4 months.. so it could be bh.. as long as they are not 5-10 min apart or anything like that.. if they become worse i would call your doctor
