Honestly labor is NOTHING like you see in movies or tv shows... and its TRULY not that bad at all.. with my first son i was induced at 39 weeks because my obgyn told me he wasnt growing anymore.. i was in labor for 24hours and 43 mins.. yes i did get an epidural but i got it 4 hours before he was actually born.. and that was almost 3 years ago.. and with my second baby boy who was born Jan 19th 2015 i was at home and i started strong contractions that were 2-3 mins apart and by the time i got to the hospital they were every 30seconds to a min apart. and i was 4cm. i didnt think i was going to go into labor myself this time but shocker i did. this labor was only 5 hours and 35mins long i also got an epidural with this labor too. and both times i did have an episiotomy. i didnt cry at all only except for when i actually pushed my boys out and heard their first cry.! dont worry you will be ok! and Congratulations! also what really helps if you have a really good nurse! im 21 and for my second delivery i was all by myself cause my hubby had to be at home with our first son

To me labor wasn't as bad as people make it out to be.
So many people told me I wouldn't be able to have a normal natural birth because I was so skinny & cuz I'm 17 but I did it (;
I think what helped me out was telling myself that the contractions were going to pass. My boyfriend was there & I found talking to him was also helpful
Just try to keep a positive vibe in the room. I think if I would have been able to walk around in the room it would have helped me even more but in the hospital I gave birth in they wanted me to stay in the bed -.-
Just know that the contraction stage is the hardest to me pushing the baby out was super easy I had no pain at all just felt like a lot of pressure & I had a strong urge to push.
Ahh & breath through your contractions if you hold your breath it hurts even more!! (found that out the hard way Lol)
-Good luck mama your body will lead you through the way & everything will come to you naturally trust me!
We are made to do this so don't even stress it!! (:

Its nothing u can really prepare for you won't know what happens till ur in labor but I can tell you its not as bad as a lot of ppl make it out to be I unfourntly had a rough labor I was induced on the 12th of Jan and didn't have her till the 14 th of Jan BC I had a rare condition that her fluid was low and not BC I was leaking so I had to be on bed rest my whole labor it was tough but I would do it all over again it was something I couldn't have prepared for I didn't even know till they induced me. I'm sure you will do great jus stay positive and think about holding your bundle of joy its the most amazing thing ever labor will be the last thing on your mind! And I understand being scared I was a ftm as well and ppl would always tell me scary stories or ho bad it is and I have bad anexity and it would scare me but once I was in labor I was so calm even with all the complications BC I thought ofy baby girl and her health and holding her and once I experienced it all I realize it was not as bad as other ppl said it is. Just wait and you will see good luck to you and congrats!
