i feel like im failing...

So my boy is due in 2 weeks n I just found out that my landlord is not going to renew my lease. We have to be out by may 31st. I tried explaining that I was 9 months pregnant n they basically said they don't care. I have always paid my rent on time or early even n have never caused any problems. I don't understand this. I lost my job back in Dec n have been living off unemployment n my bfs small income. I'm having no luck finding n new place n I'm terrified of what we will due come next month. Sorry this is so long I just needed to vent.

Sorry your goin threw this.. stay positive and n due time something will come to u even greater.. but i believe even thou your nt evicted or considered evicted they cn still help w/ a homeless prevention program or somethinh.. btw where do u live..i would still keep on trying bck with housing assistance..  and again from my knowledge they are nt allowed to kick u out if u have a child or someone n the house with a disability ( i live n N.J)n its lik that here..

Jus stay positive its hard going threw n u have  those pregnancy hormones ragin. B prayerful n hope for the best.. i do wish u luck on your new baby n u finding a new place for your family

I'm just worried that if I do that then it will be on my rental history n that could cause landlords to deny me easier.

I agree with gator, id withhold mays rent due to them being arseholes. The other thing I would suggest is if you can't find a place, dont move. I know that sounds like more stress, but they can't physically remove you, and in order to remove you they have to call the sherriff and go through the courts, at least that's the way it works in my province. That way it would be an eviction, and you could get the emergency assisstance. But for now, just save save save and keep looking.

Im so sorry, I can understand how you feel I'm in the same boat. We also have to move by May 31st and tomorrow 38 weeks pregnant with two toddlers at home. But I'm not thinking on moving, just waiting this little boy to come and then what is next. I hope you can find some monetary help and arms to help you packing!

I looked into everything I can n I still can't get anything. Housing assistance is over a 6 year wait n because my bf is in my child's life I can't get w2 n because its not an eviction I can't get emergency assistance.

Have you tried getting government assistance with this.
It sounds unfair. And if you can verify your being kicked out at a certain date they may give u assistance to move. More so because your about to have an infant. Just keep up the search and save. I know its hard saving what you do not have.
And since they are being so unfair I would withhold rent for all of may.
You will need that extra money. Look up your rights. And help options. It will be OK. Stress is not good for you right now. Just do your best day by day that's all you can do.

I also should add I've moved while pregnant too, that's a pain in the butt just because I was so hot and irritable, haha, but it's doable, either way!

I'm sorry hun, I know it seems terrible right now, but you'll get through it. Just start looking for some places right now and you'll find something before may 31st, save up some money until then and set up a move in date for june 1st you know? I've had to move with a newborn before and they sleep so much it's a lot easier than it sounds. It will all work itself out! You aren't failing him, it's nothing in your control, and you'll work through it. Good luck!

Oh my god! That's so unfair.. Is there family you can stay with? Because it will be damn near impossible for you to move yourself when you this pregnant, or have a newborn. I hope you can find somewhere to go..
