help with dates pleease!!

Hi guys I'm a first time mother n super confused I'm due may 8 I'm guessing I conceived on the 15 of august and am 23 weeks n 2 days but I dont understand if i conceived august 15 wouldn't i be due may 15 n they say pregnancy is 40 weeks but that's not 40 weeks I'm so confused am i gonna 6 months next week? N if so does that mean I go into labor in April? Not may?

And were alrdy 6 months .. 22-26 weeks = 6 months = ending 2nd trimester ***

That's my due date too.. Its counted by the first date of your last period being Aug 1st .. And we ovulated the 15th so we conceived between the 11-19th. I take it the 15th exact. Makes sense once u use a calendar.

Well I'm 22 weeks and 4 days my due date is May 12th so you are four days ahead of me

You are actually pregnant for 10 months not 9 months. 10 months=40 weeks (:

Pregnancy is counted beginning at the first day of your last period.

Just go by your ultrasound. If your ultrasounds put you at 23w2d, then go by the due date that coincides with the gestation date.
