I have been waiting on my medicaid since march. I applied two day after I found out.  And it is still pending

They say that all the time I just got my foods stamps approve they said that the same thing last week about that.  I am really starting to miss dc right now

NC social offices have been backed up for months. You need to call and harass them until they give you an answer.

I told a worker at the DSS main office that I was 4 weeks pregnant & needed medical care asap because I had previous miscarriages at 6 weeks. I filled out the application right there, showed them my proof of pregnancy & had my medicaid number the next day. I had to wait on the card but was able to make appointments with just the number. I received emergency pregnancy Medicaid. You do not have to wait the standard 30 days if your pregnant. Go to main office & talk to a supervisor.

They have 30 days to comeplete your paper work. I would call ASAP to see if they have everything for you.

There is Definitely something up, I got approved the same day I applied and that was THIS Wednesday....

From the time you applied, if you approved, any medical bills that you have should be covered. Make sure you keep up with them and keep calling- write a letter if you have to.

I was 2 weeks when I applied. I'm almost 7months now.

I was six months pregnant before they accepted me!! I was pissed cause I applied at a month and a half

U need to go in to DSS and get it checked out. I applied n june and got my card middle of july.

I would keep calling. I found out my health department didn't send in my paperwork like they said they would so I was waiting a while as well. But once I mailed in all my information I was approved within a week. And I'm in S.C.

Call and see what's the hold on the process. It's now august and you applied march???? You should've been had coverage.

That isn't acceptable. I got accepted within a few weeks. You need to call places & figure out what the heck is going on. Medical bills will be outrageous without it.
