I was a single mum for 3,5 years. My sons dad left me at 9 weeks pregnant and i was 19 living alone working 4 jobs and doing my final year at school. I saved my $ and iv been a stay at home mum ever since. Taking small jobs every now and then to keep us going. It is not always easy but it is fantastic knowing you can stand on you'r own two feet and suport your family
Im 18 weeks with my first baby. I definately feel aline. I do everything alone. I buy everything alone. I pick out everything alone. Go to drs alone. Ultrasounds alone. It ***** to just not have somrone therr alll the time and whos been there since day onr u can jyst talk to about even the simplest things. But then i just watch my video of my baby from sonogram waving at me makes it 100% better and worth it. Were not alone. Were the farthest from alone. Were in the process of growning our own baby. Well never be alone :) i hope u find a way to help u cope just know ur not one bit alone.
I'm a single mum and pregnant I have a 2and 5 year old and it's not easy but they keep me busy on my toes at the start of this pregnancy I felt alone upset but that's because I thought I needed to have a man in my life to make it all better but after many experiences couldn't care less yes it takes 2 but being a mum shows how strong you are specially to do it alone even if that's not what you wanted..
I was a single mum best part of a year then i met my partner now my daughter is almost 3 ... it is 1 of the hardest jobs out there bringing baby up by your self but once you can see your baby making new developments like smiling, giggling crawling its best feeling ever just try to have a break every so often... 1 night a month my mum use to take her for few hours so i cud get some sleep or relax but try not to think of being alone, ur never alone theres playgroups ect out there where u can meet mums and babies nice way to socialise :) wish you all the best :)
I am! It is difficult a lot of the times but I try to keep my focus on my baby. She will be here thursday so I know she will keep my busy. It is lonely, but hey you got this momma. Just keep your head up!
Do you have family to help you with support? Emotionally. It helps, even if it's not the same as a husband or bf. My mom has been my rock through this pregnancy.
Im not but i am scared that it could happen any minute and when it feels scary and extremely lonely i get upset....im here for you if you need it
