possible labor? 39 weeks!

Hello everyone I been having contractions that started at 4:30pm today and then started as bad cramps that made me have go to bathroom I walked,and drunk water even sat down and I kept having them and if I timed correctly they are 3-5mins apart on the 18the I was 2.5cm dilated and 50% effaced I'm still having the contractions as I am typing this they are starting as cramps in my left side to my belly button as they tighten up Idk if I should be concern or notbut I been having problems breathing, y head been hurting all day like not headache but similar to like sinus head pain, my feet and hands are swollen now also,  I lost the rest my plug yesterday, as my doctor when she check my cervix at 37 weeks I was 2cm and had bloody mucus on her fingers is I possible I could be in labor?  And should I call my Dr tell him thats on call or wait till my appointment tomorrow at 2pm?  my baby been active and has the hiccups right now!

I'm back from my appointment md said I was 3cm dilated but what concerned me is they said my blood pressure was also up I'm still in all the same pains even headache and they didn't seem to concerned

And I can hardly walk and breathe I have to take like a super deep breathe I have Dr appointment at 2:30 they want me to keep it also I'll keep everyone posted

I been having menstrual / gas pains since 4:30pm yesterday and in I timed right they are 3-5mins apart and after they slowed down my stomach still feels hard I feel sick I feel like I have to pee everytime I stand up and feels like someone has punched me in the area down there and I swear I can feel her every turn on her head every second anything I eat or drink I feel really sick and my stomach feels like I been doing ab workouts it sore and baby has decreased in movement since last night I couldn't sleep worst a crap tried every position woke up ever 30mins my feet and hands are swollen right foot worse been swollen since last week and my head hurts feels heavy

I'd say go in! Better safe then sorry! Go make sure you and baby are okay and keep us posted!! Good luck! :)

Sounds like labor to me. I experienced most of that with my first. If your contractions are 5 min or less apart my doc said its time to go in

I think you should go to l/d just to be on the safe side.

They have slowed down now cramps went away baby still active lol bit I know my lower back right at my buttock hurts some not to bad

It sounds to me like you need to go in! If you don't want to go in call your hospital & speak to a nurse from L&D good luck:)

I was having contractions last weekend & nurse had me go in if it got to the point where they stop you from being able to walk/talk through them

When your pooping alot it can be a sign that your body is getting ready for the baby. I would call and tell them your symptoms how are your contractions now any closer are they together?

Yeah been having bowel movement like 7 times a day with these cramps since Saturday.

Call before u get in more pain please. I waited when I was in labor and I wasnt able to walk at all.

If theres a number that u can call to get a hold of your doc or nurses line I would call just to be safe. Exspecially if your having problems breathing. Any help they give I will be good. They might want u to come in just to make sure u and baby are ok.

Sharp pinching pain in cervix, and walking getting more difficult and feel like baby entire weight on pelvis

My symptoms are stuffy nose,head hurts, swollen hands and feet, trouble breathing,  cramping that feel like gas pain and feel like I have to poo and normally I do but today it didn't go away after, and having hot flashes that make me feel like I'm running a fever
