baby belly ache .... help
My daughter is ten days old and I've noticed lately that when I give her breast milk she gets terrible belly aches .... I exclusively pump. But sometimes supplement with formula if we go out in town. She does great with the formula but always gets a belly ache after breast milk... Anyone know how to help them with a belly ache???? What is gripe water used for and is she old enough for it ???
I never gave my daughter anything because she always let it out but I know they have I hink gripe water and a gas x thing for newborns. My one friend she had 4 kids and swears by doing skin to skin. When the baby is fussy I uess if you do skin to skin and have baby just in diaper and you topless that it somehow I guess pulls it into you and relieves baby somehow. I dont know but she swears by it.
It could be milk or soy in your diet. My son did that too. Finally figured out it was the milk and soy in my diet that was causing it, I would try taking out that if you can. Coincidentally I ended up learning I myself had problems with it.
It could be something your eating maybe that's going through your breast milk and not settling well in her tummy?
Maybe gas? She acts like she's constipated but poops 4-6 times a day .. its still that watery yellow seed looking poop... She grunts and kicks her feet and moves her arms and wines.
Don't mix milks I always got told not to unless you are going to go onto formula don't use it just breast but I all ways found with my son I had to burp him Abit more and I used gripe water from him been little like you little one just add a little bit to some water and let her have a sip of water with it in bit I would say use formula if you feel she is better with that
