baby shower.. crazy family. need help!

So I want my baby shower at a hall. I have a very crazy family tho. i have a few problems. My parents are divorced & dad doesnt like my boyfriend.. But I want just one huge baby shower. My family is huge & so is my boyfriends.
Okay but what do you think.. My baby shower is most likely going to turn into an adult party. I would rent a hall out for abt 6 hours 6pm-12pm. Baby shower time from 6-8& the rest of the party for everyone else just to have fun & drink since that's what our families are about. I want to get a DJ too. Is this too much for a baby shower? I dont have a "normal" family & neither does my boyfriend. So I feel like it'll be enjoyable but is this too much?

Lol yeah I'm Mexican.& my family is majority mexican& Puerto rican & my boyfriends family is also mexican&Italian. Were just a bunch of party ppl. Every gathering we have turns into a party till the sun comes up . literally.

I think everyone would enjoy in so I guess its not to much just wasn't sure if I was over thinking it!

Not if that is what your family does. I mean if that's a normal party for your family then go for it. My baby shower is going to be just like other parties small BBQ style. If your families are big and love to party go for it.

Just asking are you Spanish lol .. This sounds something like my family would do lol they make a party out of every family gathering  lol
