thank you that makes me feel better! its just concernin when she was so active before..she seemed to be pretty consistent up until now but i will try not to worry too much. i know you don't start counting until 28 weeks, but the nurse at my last doctor's appointment did ask me about the baby's movements first thing so i dont know.
faye83: nope no caffeine here i only drink decaf stuff...she was just crazy active. i have had 2 separate techs tell me she is a very active baby. so as you can see its very concerning when she starts to act somewhat more normal haha.
She is still tiny enough to hide. When I got pregnant I was 98 lbs and felt her kicking non stop ALL the time. Then for 2-3 days it just stopped and I wasn't feeling anything. I went to the hospital where they did a test and saw her heartbeat was good and because I was still concerned they gave me an ultrasound that showed her jumping up and down and kicking like a ninja, but because of the position she was in I couldn't feel it. I wouldn't be too concerned yet. I don't think they even have you start doing kick counts until like 28 weeks because its so irregular.
I'm 24 weeks also and there are some days that my baby is more active than others. Sometimes, I only feel little bits here and there and then other times, I feel her all day long. Right now they are still small enough to turn in different positions which makes them harder to feel. I went to the dr. 2 days ago and everything was good, nice heartrate. Try not to worry too much. My daughter doesn't respond when I poke my belly either. =)
At 24 weeks, your baby's movements will still be erratic and irregular. If there is a significant change in movement though, you should call your doctor.
That's a lot per hour! were you drinking something with caffeine or the likes? Try drinking some coke or apple juice or something to make her move. I had the same fear before but it was just that she was resting for a couple of days
