It was interesting since campus had a lot of stairs, but I'm glad because I would get my daily workout. I've been very active so I choose stairs As opposed to elevators. I've had a healthy pregnancy so it wasn't discomforting at all.
I'm concerned about going back though because I have a JD program I got accepted to but decided not to take it just yet since I want to breast feed exclusively for 6months to a year.
Im currently 31 weeks pregnant and i am a full time student and i have been going to school since before i got pregnant. This semester ends august 19 and im due sept 29 so im going to take the fall semester off so that i can concentrate on giving birth and spend some time with my baby before i go back to school in the spring!! Im majoring in nursing so i need the break lol
I'm going to school right now. I love it. I'm glad I have something to do instead of just focusing on my pregnancy. It makes it go by much faster too!
Im worried about after the baby is born an leaving my baby at home, my fall semester will end devember an im du on january so il be okay but il still let em know in kase.baby komea early, how do u feel while goin with yur bellys hard at all??
I was in school I just finished my Masters in June it was a bit overwhelming but worth it. My professors were great and understanding! I had a class mate who couldn't make it to finals because that week was her due date, and they accommodated to her. She just took her finals before. Anything is possible ladies just a bit of time and effort for a better future for your family :)
I'm due August 18th and school starts aug 26. I hope my baby comes before the 26 because I need to finish school.
So happy to see how many mommas are continuing education!!!!!!!!!!! <3
I was pregnant when I started college. I took online courses spring semester and had my daughter in April. It was hard to get online work done and my GPA suffered, but I managed to avoid academic probation. For a few semesters her father and I staggered our classes so one of us was able to be with her at all times. I had to put off some labs until later because I couldn't go 3+ hours without nursing. But I eventually graduated with a 3.0 GPA.
I'm early in pregnancy now but I am going to grad school for the fall and the baby is due in march and I still plan on going for the spring semester..pray for me lol. Good luck mommas!
I'm going back when much baby is 3 months old! I'm definitely nervous...
I went to college on campus up to 37 weeks wobbling around from class to class with my first pregnancy then i continued FT for a semester online. Dropped out bc of moving and all that then did a medical transcription program from july after i stopped college in may to october. Went from oct 2011 to june 2013 before starting online college and its been going good. My daughter is 2.5 and i am due mar 19 and dont plan to stop since i only have a yr left. Look into online colleges it may be easier. But its rlly not that bad. I did my best and got my best gpa the semester i was pregnant on campus
I'm luckily graduating early, so I'm done in December. Then I'll be going for my masters when baby is 7 mths. I think it might be uncomfortable/stressful, but we can do it!!
I'm currently 13+4 and start school in a month and am due right before we go back for the spring semester so I am thinking that I am going to be taking spring semester off. I'm very anxious though to see how I'm going to be feeling, and how I'm going to keep my grades up. This is my 3rd to last semester and I am just pushing so hard to make it all the way through!
I want to go in the fall but I have one more prerequisite for the nursing program, but I would have no one to helpe with the new baby. The child care center won't take infants untill they are six weeks old. It makese wish I knew people and had friends.
I think as long as you don't surprise your professors when baby is born they will be able to work something out with you. Just email them before classes start and introduce yourself to them on day one so they recognize your face, and keep them updated on stuff just like you would your boss. ")
I'm going to school and I still have 2-3 years left plus masters. I have a very supportive family. I'm due end of feb and plan to talk to my professors beginning of spring semester about being gone for a week
I wanted to go back this fall but my due date is too close to finals so just to be on the save side I'm going to wait until spring semester and keep going from there.
That's what I'm worried about too. But my mommy and my mil are saying that they will help us out that last semester of mine to get me through til graduation. It'll only be about four months that I'd be worried about babysitting.
I'm in school now I'm more worried about after having the babysitting plans
I go back to school the last week of August and I'm due September 9! Idk how I'm going to do it but i have too lol
Lots of mommies go back to school while pregnant. One of the mommies in my class was back the following week and our professor even allowed her to bring her newborn into class during lecture a couple times. Because of my major, the professors seem more lenient and understanding when it comes to families and I love it!
I will be going to school until I give birth. Baby is due 3 weeks before finals, so I will be talking to my professors from day one to see what options they can give me depending on when the little guy decides to come. and after baby is here, I'll have one more semester to go before graduation! but I will have all winter break, about two months, to be with baby before going back in the spring semester :)
