being induced??

I'm 37+3 and and a ftm... Due to my mum being taken into hospital for an emergency opp, and my baby's dad leaving me last wed (he hasn't bothered to come back. I managed to get hold of him Sunday to tell hi. I had to ring an ambulance  out of saturday night and that the baby isn't ok, and he said he'd be back yesterday but he'd swiched his phone of and didn't show) I'm thinking of looking into being induced. I wanted him to come on his own but appart fro baby's daddy the only person I've got is my mum.... And she's not able to come whenever I need her. So could you tell me how to go about telling the midwives ect that u wana be Induced, (live in UK) and also share any experiances please. Thankyou in advance x

Nope, I've got absolutly no one hun. I'm literally on my own. And because of health issues I'm not supposed to be left on my own :/ I'm in the south west hun, torquay lol. X

Thats so horrible of him and selfish too. . Have u not go a friend who can join u and giv u the supporting hand u need.. u should ring ur midwife and explain your situation and ask her if u can be induced some midwifes I knw r horrible but some are a great help. I live in uk aswel so I knw hw it is.. hope all goes well hun.. dnt mind me askin whr r u in uk. South north west ? Im in west york
