whats going on?

Last month i messed up my birth control really bad. missed a total of 6 pills for the month.. my period was 2 days late. when i got it it was heavier than usual and i had bad cramping at first. it lasted for maybe a day and a half (it stopped when i started a new pack of pills like it usually does) now i am a week away from when my period is due and i am freaking out. the only symptom that i have is sore breasts which i usually have this far into my pills. my left breast is slightly achy and sometimes to me my nipple looks a little puffy. i am not sick or tired or anything else just very stressed out and extremely nervous. ive taken 3 tests and they are all negative. are my hormones just that messed up because of all those missed pills last month? or am i pregnant?

I just take it at a bad time at night. I take it at 930pm and that's usually when I am out with friends. Is there a way I can change the time?

Why don't you like to take it in front of others? Who cares what they think about it, BC is a wonderful thing to use. Try setting an alarm and taking it at that time everyday. If you would prefer not to in front of others, take it later in the evening.

More than likely it is due to messing up your BC. It can cause quite a few changes in the body. Make sure if you miss ANY pills or take them at different times that you use addition protection (such as condoms) for at least 48 hours. If you have trouble remembering to take your BC, it would be good to speak to your doctor about changing to something else that doesn't require daily use.
