birth story!

Not a very long one but after being put on bed rest for a couple days on Saturday the 2525th and then being admitted to the hospital on the 27th, I finally got to meet my sweet baby girl on the 29th at 631 pm. She was born at 36 weeks and 1 day. She measured 6 Lbs 15 oz at birth and 20 oz long.no was induced at 830 on the 28th and didn't progress past 2 cm for hours it felt like. I never really had constant contractions it felt like so it made getting dialated kind of difficult. I only pushed for about 20 25 minutes and then out came my baby girl. Thank god for the epidural! I thought I could handle the contractions but oh boy was I wrong!! She had some difficulties breathing after birth and had to be manually pumped to get her to breath as long as a cpap. She has been having a little problem rremembering to breathe when she feeds and her oxygen levels will drop but once we pull the bottle back they go back up. I haven't produced any milk only the premilk (i can't remember what it's called) yet but I am trying to pump. Because of her having trouble breathing and being born 4 weeks early she hasn't been able to breastfeed or room in with me at all, but im hoping that today she will be able to! Wish me luck mamas I'm a ftm and feel like I have no idea what I'm doing!!!!!

Congrats! I hope your daughter gets to come in your room and remembered to start breathing on her own. Best of luck!
