I am a hairdresser and reasure u it is cpmpletely fine i worl arould dye all day have diea my hair through bpth pregnamcys and have had soany pregnant clients... the only thing i would advise u is to have a skin test done at a salon before using the dye as your hormones change in pregnancy your skin cam become more sensitive so u are at a greater risl of getting a reaction but aslong as that gives u no irritation it is completely safe xx

My baby book, hairstylist & doctor said its fine. I've died my hair 2x during my pregnancy and am 30 weeks. Everything is fine

Also i dyed my hair last month and i am now 28 weeks with twins that are doing beautifully:) and my doctor loves the new look ;)

It's said to be okay after the first trimester and best if done in well ventilated area!

Wait until your second trimester..lot less risk being that your pores in your scalp connect to your blood stream ..and if you have a low cut..i would suggest grow it out a little longer...go for more natural dyes as well such as vegetable or henna .. source:Im a lisenced Cosmetologist

I've never heard someone say it was TOTALLLY ok. Maybe that if you want to do it, do it, but that they would recommend waiting. But I guess, you're your own person. Like I said I wouldn't do it.

That is total bs. My doc said it's fine. If it wasnt okay to do, beauticians that are pregnant would be out of a job for 9 months.

It's not a good idea at all. Some people do it, but you won't catch me doing it. You're Dr will say it's not a good idea.
