Wait till 4 weeks to introduce it, but make sure you start before 6 weeks. Their sucking reflex disappears then and its difficult to introduce a bottle .after. I didn't know that and waited too long. Its taken my son month and a half, and trying many different types before being able to drink even a couple ounces.
Its recommended for the first 4weeks u breastfeed exclusively before introducing bottles. One baby gets the hang of nursing then bring on the bottle. Itll take some time for some babies. That's what I did with both of babies, they both had dr brown bottles. This time I'm gonna use avent
I breastfeed my son for 3 1/2 months before i gave him a bottle and he would only take the lanolin momma bottles. It took him a few tries before he could get latched on right but he finally got it.
It depends on the baby. I have four kids and 2 of them simply couldn't figure out how to drink from a bottle and the other two did. All 4 were breastfed for a minimum of 6 months.
My son would not take a bottle at all! I think he just really liked the comfort of nursing. He is now 7 months and still will not take one. Every baby is different.
Baby will take bottle but my daughter would not for the life of her take a bottle from me.
Get what bottles you like. I like avent brand ones personally, but I've used others and liked them just as well.
Yes, baby will take bottles just fine! I did breastfeeding and bottle feeding. I dont believe in "nipple confusion".
