breastfeeding question..

I'm a ftm due in 8 weeks & was wondering if giving my little girl a passie will it confuse her or make latching more difficult??

I usually wait about two weeks until I introduce a pacifier by then they usually have mastered nursing

I would try and establish latching first, trying to breastfeed within the first hour after birth, before introducing a pacifier. I have read it can be more difficult to latch if it isn't done first just because a paci is easier to suck on for them. But after she has latched a couple times, I don't see a problem in it.
