Any tips that will help me stick to my plan?

I unfortunately am one of the moms the nipple pain is so unbearable I couldn't take it and my baby lost interest in breast feeding it seems like...after I pumped once to receive some nipple pain and fed her through a bottle she was not much interested in me anymore..I had many nurses try and help me figure out a resolution to the pain but it was  just apart of nursing for me personally that I had to deal with...every moms different but what I found was making it more bearable was nipple cream, massaging, and a supportive bra...what I have always been told is it does get better even if it hurts a lot it won't always be this way...it was just my personal choice to switch although I cry not feeding her anymore because I truly miss the bonding time it offered with my little baby

It shouldn't hurt after the first minute. Make sure to see a lactation consultant in the hospital to make sure you go home ready. If it hurts after that make an appt with one they're free.

Inno its funny but im a petite mommy and I would be able to pump 13ounces! With in 30minutes of drinking the drinkable oatmeal I would feel my milk coming. I had a wonderful experience with it. Thats why I like to share with mommies who want to breastfeed.

Thats good you already plan to breastfeed. Im 11weeks and also plan to breastfeed. This my second pregnancy I have a 3yr old daughter. Breastfeeding had its ups and downs for me. Most importantly once you have your lil one have that skin to skin contact asap!! By instinc they will turn there heads. She latched on with in 15mins of being born. It didnt hurt me but every mommy is different. I didnt think I would breastfeed but I did for 1yr 1/2. Biggest tip I can give you is have patients lots of it! One more tip lol. For first time mommies inno some have hard time with there milk dropping. I would make home made drinkable oatmeal two weeks before I went into labor. And for months of breastfeeding I have no idea what it is but it helps produce milk. Family thing I guess lol.  And its healthy my fridge was packed with gallons of it. Easy to make just grind oats add milk (remember drinkable) add enough and sugar to your taste.
