At how many weeks should my ob start checking for dilation? Im 32w 2d

Thanks ladies! My ob isnt going to check me until 37 wks, even though she said im going to most likely have him a week or two early. With my previous pregnancy my ob checked me starting at 35wks and every week after 36w

I didn't get checked by my midwife until yesterday.. I'm 39 weeks.. Unless I was having contractions, there was no reason to get checked..

Depends on the dr. My ob and i decided today that there really isn't a medical reason to check. So I'm going to hold off till i either go into labor on my own or my induction day. It really is up to you, just keep in mind that you can be dilated and not in labor.

They start at 36w usually.
