I am starting my registry and looking into pumps. Wondering if any one has suggestions on good or bad ones? Also can they be used again with the next child or need to be replaced each time?

Medela is the only way to go!!... I have gone through evenflo and playtex and have wasted more money on them then if i would have just gone with medela in the first place. When shopping for one i went to babies r us and asked the "expert" for a good one and even went to one of their breast feeding classes and they still suckered me into the two worse ones so if you are thinking about getting one get the medela its worth the extra money!! I have 2 with one on the way and have been very happy with it. Some hospitals rent them so you can try it out before you buy one. Hope it helps.

Ok.. I looked into them earlier and they seemed like a good brand. There are just so many different types

They can be re-used. I've looked into them and my favorite so far is Medela. The hospitals over here also use Medela.
