Im so sorry... I m not sure abt placenta but abt low fluids she can try drinking asmuch water as she can... I knw its tough... Baby born at this stage has very less survival rate as they still need fluid to breathe through lungs... However u never know.. If babys a fighter thn he/she might put up with it... She ll be in my prayers...
thanks beauty. I already told her to drink loads of water an to keep taking folic acid. Inshallah khar nothing else we can do. Its in allah hands I just really wanna know if anyone has been though something like this.
I'm honestly not sure about the placenta, if there's anything they can do to correct that problem, and if it's been long enough without the placenta working it may have already caused issues with the baby. Did her water break, was she leaking fluids? I would make sure she's staying very, very hydrated and good luck to her, I hope everything turns out well!!
Her water didnt break. Bt the water does leak from her. Man I dont know. I am just super worried thanks ladies
and she hasnt miscarried yet?
No she hasnt misscarried yet!
In 20+5 today and was just told yesterday that my fluids are low now I gotta get another ultrasound and find everything out for sure. I was told bedrest, drinks a min of 4 16oz of water, and try to stay stress free. I'm so sorry to hear this and I hope everything works out
My cousin was born prematurely due to her placenta not working properly, she wasnt growing at all, my aunty was told she could have her prem and have a chance of her surviving or carry her full term and have a still born :( not a very nice choice to make. My aunty chose to have her early. She was 1lbs 11ozs but died at 4 days old.
We are talking 10 years ago tho and medical help has progressed 10 fold since then. Just pray that god is behind that baby and ur friend x
I am not a doctor by any means, but I agree that she should try the TONS of water, and to stay off her feet. If she isn't on bedrest now, and she works, I'd ask the doctor to write up paperwork asking for her to be excused from work for bed rest. I just wouldn't take any chances. I would also advise her to just make sure to continue to take her vitamins.
I hate hearing stories like this...if she can hold out until the baby is at least 26 to 27 weeks, the chances of the baby surviving are pretty good. It will be tough and the baby would be in NICU for a while, but like I said, the chances of survival would be pretty good. It's amazing how much technology has advanced...
I hope she is holding up... I know it must be hard on u n ur friend... She should take bed rest n drink plenty of fluid n stay stress free as everyone said...
Plus any updates how she doing now??
She is pretty sad an emotional which is ubderstandable. She wont be seing a doctor until wednesday soo no updates. Being pregent is blessful bt wallahi its also soo much stress an worries.
