I think that is the ultimate gift you can give someone trying to have a family. i watched One Born Every Minute on Lifetime tuesday night and there was a surrogate carrying a child for a couple from Sweden. Seeing them bond with their baby after he was born brought me to tears. I hope you get the answers you are looking for. and the surrogate was 35 i believe.
I was thinking in terms of carrying a child for someone in my family, so this is great. I'll check with the endocrinologist. ... at least it gives me hope.
You would need to speak with a surrogacy group. They'd screen you and you'd have to fill out all the appropriate paperwork and undergo their tests. I would ASSUME that a menopausal woman could not be a surrogate but technology is pretty amazing. I'd set up an appointment or at least call and ask over the phone.
