I'm 34+3, have had 6 u/s and never had to remove mine. That's odd, she can't make you leave it out though, just put it back in after :) Yay! The anatomy scan time is soooo exciting, I hope you get what you'd prefer and super healthy. Good luck
Thats weird. With my pregnacey with my son i had my regular belly ring in the whole time and now with this pregnacey i still have my belly ring in now. My belly went right back to normal first pregnacy so i havent taken it out this time around. But it was probably just for the ultrasounds cuz i always had to take mine out for ultrasounds
Weird I never had to take mine out for any of my ultrasounds.and they said it was fine to keep it through the entire pregnancy...
They want you to take it out because metal affects the ultrasound and when they take pictures, the person who analyzes them may think it's something else besides your piercing. Well that's what they told my sis anyways.
Yeah they usually just want you to take it out for the ultrasounds. I will tell you though I got one of those pregnancy belly rings and I had to take it out the last several weeks or so because it was so uncomfortable and after I had my baby and my belly went back to normal my hole was so weird and stretched out that I don't even wear a ring in anymore :( I personally wish I had just taken it out in the beginning and either put it back in after or had it repierced. I feel like it would have fared better that way.
She might just want it out for the scan, since she's gonna be pushing all over your belly and might need to push on your belly button area. I would just take it out for the appointment and put it back in for the next appointment. :)
Might just be for the ultrasound because they have to go over your belly button and all over just to get a good look of what your having.
Really?? Then idk why she would say that she isn't even the doctor. . I don't wanna lose my belly ring bcuz I want to get back in shape after baby :( hmm that's a B u m m er
Im 29 weeks and i still have my regular belly ring in. And i definitely look super pregnant. :)
