My neighbor gave me an car seat i didnt see how nasty it was till i got it in the house. There's no way to clean it. How do i tell her i dont need it without coming off as being rude or ungrateful?

This happened with a bassinet a friend gave me. I kept it for awhile but eventually I just threw it away cause it was in no condition to put any baby in

She claims she found it on the side of the road. I wasnt thinking i was pissed off at my baby daddy at the time. And i was trying to hurry up n close my front door my other neighbors were being nosey so i told her yeah i could use it. She suppose to come get it at 3pm tomorrow to wash it. Im just gonna give it back to her than.

Tell her some one has brought you one as a gift and just return the grubby one back to her. I have had this problem with people saying yep its all clean then i open the bag up and man it almost makes me spew everywhere, im just super thankful to have a second hand shop over the road to donate some stuff
