cervical checks?

My first pregnancy I had my son at 35 weeks so I never made it to the appointments when they do these checks. Is it painful? Or is it more of just an uncomfortable pressure feeling?

Same here, I think it just depends on the Dr. My regular Dr it was more uncomfortable than anything, not painful. But the one time he was gone and the hospital wanted to check, that Dr it felt like he just ripped right in there! It only hurt for a few seconds, though, so don't worry too much. :)

Well they usually do one at your first appointment when they give you a pelvic exam so its the same. Just pressure can be a bit uncomfy depending on who does it.

Depending on the doctor doing it honestly. I went to the hospital and the doctor on call did it and it hurt so bad. My normal doc checked me and it was just a little uncomfortable.
