no such thing as too muc h fruit, soft serve cones because the mix is left in  the machine all day and  bacteria can form leading to food poisening

Soft serve cones? First I've heard of that one. What's the reasoning? Curious bc I love my ice cream ;)

chinese food is fine as long as you dont get it from a food court, make sure they make it for you freshly, if its sitting in a bain-marie thats when it can cause problems, like wise deli meats and salads that you get from your supermarket, sushi's a no no, as the post above said, I dont know if I would even bother with the vegarian either, deep sea/large fish should be limited because of the mercury, other fish is fine, they reccomened 2 serves per week, soft cheeses and unpasturised milk is off the menu as are soft serve cones, raw oysters and fish are aslo off the list, as are smoked mussels and oysters as these can contain the listeria bacteria. Keep caffine to a minimum, go for decafe its surprising how you get used to it :) sounds like alot but just think of all the yummy fresh frit and vegetables that are around :)

When it comes to Asian food, tempura-style seafoods (fried!) are considered safe. And you can have all the vegetarian sushi rolls you want. Mostly you want to avoid exotic fish that may have come from mercury-contaminated waters (and if you do your own fishing, check the local fishing regs for a list of areas where the fish are considered safe.) By the way, no tuna steaks, but chunk light canned tuna's ok in moderation. Nobody's given me a straight answer on shellfish yet but you may want to avoid them to be safe.

You might want to skip the soy sauce because of the MSG and high sodium content. But that's a matter of preference.

I adore sushi but have gotten very bad food poisoning from a sushi restaurant, so proceed with caution.  If I were you, I'd stick to the cooked food. Other than that, as long as it seems to have been cooked thoroughly, I'm not aware of any other Chinese/Japanese food no-nos. Go nuts!
