hah no..

What is with these ladies and wanting to take my 6 week old baby girl to spend the night?? First my boyfriends sister wanted to. But she don't even spend much time with her own son c'mon now. If his mom wanted to then I'd think about when she's a bit older, cuz his mom takes care of his nephew most of the time and I trust her. She respects your parenting style and she's great with kids. Then his step mom and I'm like yo, my baby girl hasn't left my side more than a couple hours and that was only once. It's bad enough I'm officially starting work Thursday and will be away 8 hours a day. And his step mom has this thing where she shakes a lot I forgot the name but its not safe for her to take care of my baby right now cuz she could drop her, or not support her neck properly. I don't know how to tell her that without looking like a jaclass I just act like I don't hear her when she says something bout it.

My grandma kept my daughter for the first time over night when she was 6 weeks old but I didn't go out or anything I just kept my phone by my side and slept as much as I could! My daughter is now 3 and spends almost every weekend with her grandparents because she wants to see her mamaw and papaw and they want to spend as much time with her as possible! The way I see it is if you have someone who loves your child that much then it is a blessing because some people don't have that! I'm now 19 and 33 weeks with my son and am so thankful that I have grandparents that help as much as mine do! And I know I'm going to appreciate it a lot more once baby boy arrives lol

Yeah my boy will be 9 weeks come Thursday and Im not ready for anyone to have him overnight yet, both my mum and my mil have watched him for a couple hours each but that's it. My dad and stepmum have him overnight in November as me, bd and my mum are going to my maternal aunts ruby wedding and due to numbers no kids are going and am dreading that already, although he'll be almost 7 months x

I would be like "i am a new parent and want to be around my child. I am paranoid and don't trust anyone" that's what I said. My brother still tells me that he can't wait til.I have this baby so I'll stop being so anal retentive about my son.

Oh i know when my son was birn my fil and his wife wanted him overnight @ 2 weeks old! Their reason was well, our stepdaughter ler us have her kid at that age for a whole week...i was like yaaaa shes also a ****** parent who cares more for drugs and alcohol than her kid. My son was a year old before he had his first sleepover and then he only ever stays with my parents. Ppl are crazy lol.

Not at one week old to get drunk I hope. I honestly can't stand when someone's at the bar right after baby is born like ohhh yeah so and so has the baby so I can get wasted. Seriously? Grrrrr

If my mom was alive I'd let her take her over night if she offered. I wouldn't mind the extra hours of sleep lol but not cuz I got hammered. But then again I know mom wouldn't offer shed be like nah I already raised my babies lol

Youll be surprised. My best friend let her mom keep her 1 week old baby over night and thru the next day so she could get drunk and have a hangover in peace... -.-
