do babies cry in the womb?

So my 2year old likes to sneak into our room at night and try to sleep with us and when she sleeps she slams her feet everywhere well last night she hit my stomach and after that I felt movement on my upper tummy of course I thought he/she was crying but I'm not to sure, ever since though he/she has been moving around like crazy.
Is it a possibility he/she was crying or just trying to move around in there?

When they cry they say your baby has a gift with them (Mexican myth) in order for your baby to come out with that special gift , you aren't suppose to tell NO ONE just keep it to yourself, once you tell someone that gift goes away. That's what they say but who knows. Just keep that in mind.

I've always wondered that. Especially since he moves when I'm hungry. Plus they cry so soon after delivery so i always thought they did
