dark urine?

For the past couple of days I have noticed my urine getting darker. It's not brown but it is definitely darker than my usual, light yellow, healthy looking urine. I read that it could be a sign of dehydration, but I drink water like it's going out of style, so I don't know what it could be. Anybody else experience this? I am currently 25 weeks and 3 days.

Yes it may b dehydration..  I had the same problem but I have a urinary infection I had it last timeni was pregnant also

Thanks for the advice! Just calculated it and I am right on track lol. 16.9*4=67.6 and half of my weight which is 136 right now is 68! Dang, I'm good lol :) Pretty sure I may have been overreacting about nothing. It's finally going back to normal. I have no pain nor does my urine have a funky smell. Thank goodness!

You're supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces.. so you probably just need to up your intake.. your body's working a lot harder these days..

No change in prenatals... I think I may have been overreacting.  Lol my pee is going back to normal now. I drink plenty of fluids and I am healthy as can be. Even with just drinking my 4 bottles a day my urine was completely fine, so I dont think it's my amount of fluid in take. I'll still ask my doc next week when I see him, I doubt it's a UTI. Thank you all for your responses!

I had a uti due to my pregnancy w. no symptoms at all.

Like Jrob said about the vitamins... I changed mime once and my pee turned brown .. like no yellow just brown ... Changed back to the original ones I was taking and it went back to normal..

you should actually be drinking 8 to 10 bottles a day now since your pregnant.. but get checked out for a uti as well

Did you change your prenatal vitamins?
When mine ran out we picked up a different brand and all of a sudden I was peeing highligher yellow no matter how much water I drank. Went back to the other brand and everything went back to normal.

Maybe you need to drink another water bottle or 2 a day :)..  I drink 6 or 7 16. 9oz water bottles a day and I'm 25 weeks :)

I drink about almost 4 a day. The bottles contain 16.9 oz of water, so I am drinking a lot. And I'm not so sure it could be a UTI, I have absolutely no pain or other symptoms. I have a doctor's appt next Monday and will ask then if it hasn't gone back to normal.

How much water are u drinking even tho u think u are drinking a lot it may not be enough I notice I drink a lot but wen its not enough my urine is still dark n then I try to drink as much as possible n it lights up have u been checked for a uti?

Uti (urinary tract infection) . Keep drinking water & cranberry juice but see a doc.
